Kofi Annan Resigns

As I’ve been saying for a while, the situation in Syria is quickly coming to a head. Kofi Annan is resigning it seems before the hostilities really begin. It appears that there is no way to avoid what we all know is coming…another World War!

The LA Times reported yesterday:

BEIRUT — The resignation of Kofi Annan, the point man for international efforts to bring peace to Syria, emphatically confirmed what events there had already been making clear: The country’s fate is far more likely to be decided by force than by negotiations.

Unfortunately, Kofi Annan also points out that “regime change” is again being played out in a proxy war against Syria which I’m afraid will spill over to a war with Iran (and China and Russia). Is this what we really want?
