Marching to war

I’ve been saying it for a while (here, here, here) that the administration in Israel and the United States have been pushing for war with Syria. From Syria, the U.S. and Israel seems intent on provoking some sort of hostile action from Iran.

There were fears late last year regarding chemicals weapons use. These fears have been realized in the past week or so. Reports of chemical weapon use have now surfaced, with both sides pointing the finger at the other. Western media has been working hard to demonize Syrian President Assad. The media, prompted by Israel firsters, has already decided that it was Assad who committed the chemical weapon attack, even though there is strong evidence against that notion.

… a medic at the local civilian hospital – said that he personally witnessed Syrian army helping those wounded and dealing with fatalities at the scene. That Syrian soldiers were among the reported 26 deaths has not been disputed by either side. The military source who spoke to Channel 4 News confirmed that artillery reports from the Syrian Army suggest a small rocket was fired from the vicinity of Al-Bab, a district close to Aleppo that is controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra – a jihadist group said to be linked with al-Qaeda and deemed a “terrorist organisation” by the US.

The US Secretary of State John Kerry is now openly suggesting that the U.S. support the rebels, prior to this the support was somewhat clandestine, and surrounded by obfuscation.

Secretary of State John Kerry pledged an additional 60 million dollars in direct aid to the rebels, marking the first time Washington will directly supply rebel forces…Senator John McCain reiterated his long-held position that the U.S. should intervene more directly in the uprising. Levin and McCain have signed on to a letter urging President Obama to establish no-fly zones and provide more military aid to rebels.

As was reported in Activist Post’s arictle titled “West Drops Syria WMD Narrative As Evidence Points to Western-Armed Terrorists” this support implicates the U.S. in some awful stuff: funding terrorist who would use chemical weapons against a civilian population. The U.S. lost the moral high ground long ago, and seems to have no intent to try to change that stance.
The march to war continues, it shouldn’t be too long now. There doesn’t seem to be any way to stop this train we are on. The only option is to just hold on and prepare the best way you can. It won’t be pretty…

Syria rebels and regime blame each other for 1st alleged chemical weapons attack – CBS News

Is this going to be the casus belli for the invasion of Syria? The provocations of Assad have been ongoing for quite some time and show no signs of relenting.
The Syrian government is blaming the first chemical attack on the foreign backed rebels, and the rebels are pointing the finger at the Assad regime.

Syrian state media accused rebels of firing a chemical weapon for the first time on Tuesday in the north of the country, killing at least 15 people in the war-torn Aleppo province. Rebels quickly denied the report and accused regime forces of firing a chemical weapon on a long-range missile.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see boots on the ground in Syria in just a short time. The U.S. and Israel seem to be itching for a fight in Syria as a pretext for war with Iran. With this news announcement of chemical weapon use (no matter who used them) we could very well see foreign intervention in Syria very soon.

One step closer…

Things are moving at a feverish pace in the past few days and I’m having a difficult time keeping up on what is happening in Syria and analyzing what it all means. I think this is part of the plan. It seems to be working very well. Most people I interact with don’t seem to know much about the conflicts in Syria.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin NetanyahuThere seems to be an ongoing campaign to keep the masses confused. There are reports out suggesting the US will wait until 2013 to do anything about Iran if the talks fail by then. Yet, on the contrary we see Israelis stocking up, and Israeli government officials declaring the talks have failed and diplomacy has ended.
Israel has decided to step up the war rhetoric by the above announcement and also preparing for a multi-front conflict, while preparing to attack Iran. I figured that was a logical move considering their history with their neighbors. mapI’m not so sure it is a strategic defensive maneuver, but rather setting up for a land grab as suggested by Michael Rivero, considering it looks as if the conflict is starting in the Sinai region, and Israel is talking about attacking Lebanon! Add to that, Saudi Arabia has told citizens to leave Lebanon immediately (another link), along with Qatar and the UAE following suit.
Israel seems to think that the conflict, once begun, will only last a short time (another link). However, as we have seen in other military conflicts of the recent past, brief will be one adjective we will not use to describe it. While Israel is preparing for a confrontation with Iran, they are also stepping up the war fever with Syria. Again the mention of Assad and chemical weapons paints a grim picture of what’s to come in the region (regime change…again). The Israeli Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren recently said:

“If you had to assign a clock to” Syria, Oren said, “that clock is ticking.”

Baseball Gear From SportsKids.ComThe media tries to paint Assad as a loner and quickly without support, but that isn’t the truth. The war mongering surrounding Syria along with the Western backed rebels, is being watched by the entire world, and not going unnoticed. The Israeli government and the US government is trying the same tactics as they have in the past, however this time there is much less legitimacy to their claims.

Unlike Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and Libya’s Gaddafi, Syria’s leader cannot be easily demonized in the corrupt Western press. Unlike Saddam, Assad has never committed war crimes either against a minority in his country or a sovereign state. As a result, there is substantial and committed international support for his leadership and the current Syrian government.

Jordan destroys 2 Syrian border postsWhat I can’t wrap my head around is why Jordan is now joining the fray on the side of the West, along with Turkey’s escalation of the hostilities and conflict. What is even more appalling is the fact that the Syrian rebels consists of mostly foreign influences and even members of al-Qaeda, but the West still supports their actions; thereby supporting terrorism and war crimes.

U.S. Double Standard

The United States claims that Assad’s government is behind some of the murders, explosions, and other nefarious acts committed on the people of Syria. Yet there is evidence that these attacks are being carried out by rebel forces from inside and outside of Syria. Even US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has admitted that Al Qaida is involved with the “rebels.”

So the western world has been painting a picture of the “evil” Assad regime and has been  preparing us for military conflict over Iran. In fact, Ron Paul wrote yesterday:

Last week we learned that President Obama signed an intelligence “finding” directing the CIA to covertly assist rebels in Syria

So we see that Al Qaeda is our enemy one day, and a CIA asset the next (doesn’t all of this sound familiar?)! We’ve always been at war with Eurasia!
Earlier this week I wrote an article regarding this authorization to provide support to Syrian rebels by President Obama.
Leon Panetta, the United States Defense Secretary makes the claim that it is Assad who is to blame for all of the violence in Damascus and Aleppo; at the beginning of his Middle East tour he said:

“Aleppo is another example of indiscriminate violence against his own people that just makes very clear that he [Assad] has lost all credibility to lead that country.”

I don’t get that at all. It seems he is doing rather well, or would be if other countries wouldn’t support terrorism in Syria’s borders, or if the United Nations wouldn’t impose crippling sanctions (which according to the U.S. playbook is a prelude to war).
What Congressman Ron Paul has to say is at odds with the picture Panetta is painting:

According to another recent press report, German intelligence services estimate that nearly 100 terrorist attacks have been committed by al-Qaeda or related organizations in Syria over the past six months. Last month, a suicide bomber in Syria killed a defense minister and several top government officials. The U.S. government, which has been fighting a “War on Terror” for more than a decade now, refused to condemn that act of terrorism.

It looks to me like Assad will hold on to power for a little while longer, but not too long. This entire destabilization in Syria is being engineered in order to draw Iran into the fray. Unfortunately, it looks like it is working as “Iran reaffirms ‘unbreakable’ alliance with Syria.” If you’re unaware, Iran and Syria have a mutual defense pact, that could be triggered very easily!

The war rhetoric is heating up quickly! Every other news story is about war with either Syria or Iran or both. Just today, infowars.com announced that Israel has decided to attack; now the only question is when?

Syria Terrorists Preparing A Chemical Weapons False Flag?

Syria Terrorists Preparing A Chemical Weapons False Flag?

Many Syrians and outside observers alike, fear that militants may deploy chemical weapons in one or more locations around Syria, creating a mass-casualty event to subsequently be blamed on the government by a coordinated Western media disinformation campaign. The so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has already been conducting strings of devastating, indiscriminate mass-casualty bombings across the country, as reported by Reuters’, “Outgunned Syria rebels make shift to bombs.”

Is this “chemical” attack the opening kickoff? After all, this is just sport, or a game to those in the bowels of power in the Western world.
