The United States government and its complicit media always chalk N. Korean threats up to saber rattling or “bellicose rhetoric“. Yet, the United States themselves is involved in nearly the same exact behavior, on N. Korea’s front door.
One the one side of their mouth, the U.S. government says that all North Korea’s talk is all bluster, and there isn’t much to be worried about. Out of the other side of their mouth, they say they are taking the threat very seriously.
It looks like we are all being spun in circles to keep us occupied, while World War 3 gets closer and closer.
I’m not really sure which way this N. Korea nuclear situation is going to go, but it isn’t looking good so far. Kim Jong Un recently rescinded the 1953 armistice between the two Koreas, readied his troops, and declared the war back on. The south of course, responded in kind; not a sign of peace or progress.
The U.S. and South Korea have been holding joint military drills, with nuclear armed bombers along N. Korea’s border. If that isn’t saber rattling, it’s at the very least provoking the N. Korean government.
The United States Navy is now in the process of moving a radar platform closer to N. Korea. This will only provoke the DPRK even further, and could possibly escalate this entire, stupid mess into a shooting war, again.
We shouldn’t be too eager to see this escalate, North Korea is a nuclear armed nation, after all. No matter who “wins” a nuclear war, the results are devastating to the civilian population. Just ask the Japanese.
Chinese navy flexes muscle in South China Sea
Since both China and Russia have both stated publically that any military action taken against Iran would be considered action against them, it is very little wonder we are seeing the demonization of China unfold.
The South China Sea dispute has been growing more intense lately, and China has allegedly fired on a Vietnamese fishing vessel, in addition to the increase in military drills in the area.
Just recently we were pointing the finger at China for all of the cyber attacks going on lately, and lamenting their handling of North Korea.
We are at dangerous times, with another World War right around the corner. Pay no attention to the MSM, as they’ve been proven to lie in the past and the present to manipulate your perception of current events.
I’ve been saying it for a while (here, here, here) that the administration in Israel and the United States have been pushing for war with Syria. From Syria, the U.S. and Israel seems intent on provoking some sort of hostile action from Iran.
There were fears late last year regarding chemicals weapons use. These fears have been realized in the past week or so. Reports of chemical weapon use have now surfaced, with both sides pointing the finger at the other. Western media has been working hard to demonize Syrian President Assad. The media, prompted by Israel firsters, has already decided that it was Assad who committed the chemical weapon attack, even though there is strong evidence against that notion.
… a medic at the local civilian hospital – said that he personally witnessed Syrian army helping those wounded and dealing with fatalities at the scene. That Syrian soldiers were among the reported 26 deaths has not been disputed by either side. The military source who spoke to Channel 4 News confirmed that artillery reports from the Syrian Army suggest a small rocket was fired from the vicinity of Al-Bab, a district close to Aleppo that is controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra – a jihadist group said to be linked with al-Qaeda and deemed a “terrorist organisation” by the US.
The US Secretary of State John Kerry is now openly suggesting that the U.S. support the rebels, prior to this the support was somewhat clandestine, and surrounded by obfuscation.
Secretary of State John Kerry pledged an additional 60 million dollars in direct aid to the rebels, marking the first time Washington will directly supply rebel forces…Senator John McCain reiterated his long-held position that the U.S. should intervene more directly in the uprising. Levin and McCain have signed on to a letter urging President Obama to establish no-fly zones and provide more military aid to rebels.
As was reported in Activist Post’s arictle titled “West Drops Syria WMD Narrative As Evidence Points to Western-Armed Terrorists” this support implicates the U.S. in some awful stuff: funding terrorist who would use chemical weapons against a civilian population. The U.S. lost the moral high ground long ago, and seems to have no intent to try to change that stance.
The march to war continues, it shouldn’t be too long now. There doesn’t seem to be any way to stop this train we are on. The only option is to just hold on and prepare the best way you can. It won’t be pretty…
Is this going to be the casus belli for the invasion of Syria? The provocations of Assad have been ongoing for quite some time and show no signs of relenting.
The Syrian government is blaming the first chemical attack on the foreign backed rebels, and the rebels are pointing the finger at the Assad regime.
Syrian state media accused rebels of firing a chemical weapon for the first time on Tuesday in the north of the country, killing at least 15 people in the war-torn Aleppo province. Rebels quickly denied the report and accused regime forces of firing a chemical weapon on a long-range missile.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see boots on the ground in Syria in just a short time. The U.S. and Israel seem to be itching for a fight in Syria as a pretext for war with Iran. With this news announcement of chemical weapon use (no matter who used them) we could very well see foreign intervention in Syria very soon.
I wrote in a recent blog post that Egypt has been getting more and more involved in the middle east conflicts lately, and it keeps intensifying. Egypt has recently been moving troops along the Sinai border with Israel, which upset Israel, claiming it violated a peace treaty.
On top of that Egyptian government officials have recently traveled to Tehran in order to attend the NAM summit. Although Morsi did voice his disagreements with Iran concerning the Syrian conflict, he also used the summit to declare that Western pressure on the NAM members to refrain from attending was a failure.
Now we see Israel being called out by Egypt for trying to interfere with their purchase of submarines from Germany.
I’m not sure what all of this means. Is Egyptian President Morsi standing up to Israel and the West, becoming more of an independent entity; another existential threat to Israel? Is Egypt being groomed for another USS Liberty?
Shas spiritual leader calls for ‘heavenly justice upon Iran, Hezbollah’
“We have Hezbollah and we have Iran,” Yosef was quoted as saying. “May the Lord, blessed be he, eliminate them from the face of the earth.”
This sounds an awful lot like the lie being perpetrated by the Western media regarding Ahmadinejad’s “wiping Israel from the face of the earth” comment which has been proven to be a gross mistranslation. Where is all of the outcry from the media that Iran is facing an existential threat? This kind of media hypocrisy is what we need to be conscious of, to read between the lines and realize the lies that we have been fed will be our ultimate downfall…
There is never a moment’s rest when it comes to beating the drums of war. Every waking hour is spent worrying about what is on the horizon, not only for Americans, but what is on the horizon for all of humanity.
The push for war with Iran and Syria seems to get more and more aggressive everyday. I’m not sure what TPTB are waiting on, but I am sure it will happen before the year is out.
I’m really not sure if Israel’s ultimatums are anything more than window dressing for the masses. However the masses are erring on the side of caution, in Israel at least. Citizens there are stocking up and readying themselves for a conflict. Although the Israeli government wants the masses to believe the conflict would only last a month or so, and with only a few Israeli casualties, but we all know how long these conflicts will last; take a look at Afghanistan or Iraq.
There is still some division within the Israeli government as to whether Israel should risk an attack on Iran without stronger commitments from Barack Obama. Yet, where there is no division is whether to attack or not. Israel is trying to push for a more solid commitment from US and is beating the drums of war to get it. Israel has already made it clear it would like the US to wage the war on Iran, but is also threatening to draw us in by engaging in a unilateral attack. This sort of thinking would have more than the 500 Israeli casualties Israel thinks it may sustain. What about all of the US service men and women in the line of fire between Iran and Israel?
Once again, Israel is playing with fire. It won’t be too long until the US and Israel gets burned.
